Hope for schizophrenia

1. May 24 is World Schizophrenia Day.

Schizophrenia is truly a complex mental illness. Schizophrenia affects the human mind, emotions, thoughts, consciousness, work ethic, stimulation, movement, speech, ie, all aspects of the psyche and disturbs the normality of each subject. Since schizophrenia usually starts early in life, it affects all stages of the person. It usually starts at the age of 15/20 and after the age of 50/55, schizophrenia does not recur. 6 out of every 1,000 people (0.6%) suffer from schizophrenia. Between 21 and 24 million people worldwide suffer from schizophrenia.

2. The schizophrenia patient's appetite and motivation are disturbed or lost. Becomes isolated from society. Fall alone in society. But even then, there is new hope for schizophrenia. Based on hope, the theme for this year's World Schizophrenia Day is "not despair, schizophrenia gets better with good treatment" or "hopefully the connection".

3. Not at all frustrating with schizophrenia. We have many reasons to hope:

A. Schizophrenia has scientific analysis and scientific treatment.

B. Scientific analysis shows that several brain chemicals, including dopamine, are responsible for the disease. So schizophrenia is better if these brain chemicals are restored / fixed through proper treatment.

C. About one-fourth to one-third of schizophrenia patients are completely well treated.

D. Patients suffering from schizophrenia are able to recover and establish themselves in all walks of life through medical treatment. Happily, the man was awarded the Nobel Prize for his treatment of schizophrenia.

E. Almost all doctors know how to treat this disease. Psychiatrists in particular are dedicated and committed to providing this service.

F. Almost all government / private medical college hospitals, national mental health hospitals, mental hospitals in each country are treated with the admission of this patient.

G. It is possible to treat this disease in almost all public-private level outpatient departments and in some places inter-departmental.

4. The role of family is very important in preventing and curing schizophrenia.

A. If the disease is detected in time and early, immediate and complete cure is possible with immediate treatment. Therefore, if there is any deviation in the behavior of parents and family members, it should be taken to the doctor.

B. Mental illness, such as schizophrenia, needs to be treated scientifically without having to be genetically predisposed, demon-possessed, or loose.

C. Family members need to be given their medication and monitored because often the patient does not realize he is ill.

D. Family members need empathy, compassion, and love to heal.

E. Getting angry with the patient, humiliating them, blaming the patient for the disease is an obstacle to healing.

F. Family members should refrain from taking drugs, as drug use can cause this disease.

The combined efforts, initiatives and awareness of all of us can cure difficult diseases like schizophrenia and make everyone smile.
