Why is there pain in the breast?

Fibroadenosis: Here the breasts change and enlarge due to hormonal factors and small lumps (nodules) and cysts form and cause pain.


Mastitis / Inflammation of the breast: Inflammation or inflammation of the breast is called mastitis. This is usually when the baby is breastfed, i.e. the breast feed is given to the mother. There is fever and loss of appetite along with pain.


Abscesses or blisters on the breasts: There is severe pain and fever in the breasts and the skin of the breasts becomes red. The operation is urgent in this case.


Chronic infections of the breast: Diseases such as TV, actinomycosis, etc. can cause pain.


Without breasts: Chest wall disease can cause breast pain. Breast pain can occur even if there is a tumor or cancer in the breast.


Depression: In addition to the breasts and chest wall, mental fatigue can also be due to mental depression. In this case, emotional help or support is often needed.

* Wear bra according to breast size. Avoid small size bras.

* Eat a healthy diet that is low in fat and high in nutrients.

* Keeping your body weight under control will eliminate the problem of hormonal changes in your body.

* Vitamin B6, Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) and Vitamin E are essential for the body. This nutrient rich diet should be taken.


When to go to the doctor

If the pain does not subside even after taking paracetamol

If there is fever with pain

If any part of the breast becomes swollen and red

If anyone in your family has a history of breast cancer

Here are some things to keep in mind when it comes to your breasts.

Whether there is any hard lump in the breast

Whether there is any fluid coming out of the nipple that looks like blood or pus

Does the skin of the breast look like an orange peel?

Whether the nipple has penetrated
